Owners Comments
\"Apart from Rowhedge being a very friendly village to live in it has two lovely pubs, The Anchor and The Albion, both situated by the River Colne. There are many walks along the Colne and Roman rives to enjoy beautiful and very peaceful scenery. My favourite walk would be along the Roman river to the neighbouring village of Fingringhoe (approximately 20-30 mins) where a third pub can be found (The Whalebone). Excellent food is served here for a light lunch followed by the return journey to Rowhedge - Just enough exercise to burn off the a few calories you've had for your lunch . Conveniently Rowhedge also has a doctor's surgery, a Co-op supermarket with post office, an off licence, a hair dressers and a tea room. Once a year Rowhedge hosts a regatta which is a must to attend and the Albion public house holds regular live music nights (also a must). I'm sure anyone moving to Rowhedge would not be disappointed with it's friendly atmosphere, welcoming neighbours and peaceful surroundings.\"
